Ad Revenue to Pass $50B in 2021
According to TrendingPlatforms.com social media ad spend in the US is projected to pass $50 Billion. Mobile ads account for 85% of this revenue.
The US is projected to pass the $50B mark from social media ad spend for the first time in 2021 and is expected to reach $56.18B. This figure is nearly double next to revenue generated by China, $28.75B.
A 16.7% increase from 2020, when revenue amounted to $48.12B. In the period from 2021-2025 social media ad revenue is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 7.76%, reaching $75.76B by the end of the forecast period.
In 2020 a whopping 83.85% of revenue was generated by mobile ads, amounting to $40.35B.
In a nutshell, we’re all safe, ads ain’t going nowhere.
