Facebook’s New Comment Moderation & Live Chat For Account Issues Updates
Facebook announced a new set of comment moderation and support tools to help creators maximize their use of its platform.
Plus, a new live chat option for those locked out of their accounts.
Here’s the announcement.
Creator Pages can now hide comments (a feature that has been present in regular Pages for a long time) and the feature hasn’t been available until recently in the new Pages experience – which may have caused it to disappear from your Page.
When a comment is hidden it’s only visible to the commentor and their connections, while Page admins can view all hidden comments by clicking “Hidden by hits Page” in the comments dropdown on any post.
Facebook’s adding additional blocking controls such as new keyword blocking options including the capability to hide comments automatically with variations of keywords that use numbers, symbols or different spellings.
It’s also testing Moderation Assists for groups which automatically moderates comments on your post based on your criteria.
If you’ve been locked out of your account, English-speaking users globally now get live chat help via the Facebook App Specifically, quotes Facebook:
“On the Facebook App specifically, we’ve also started testing live chat help for some English-speaking users globally, including creators, who’ve been locked out of their accounts.”

FEATURED STM THREAD: PUSH And In-Page Push Traffic User Freshness.
We are just 10 weeks away from the first Covid-Era Affiliate World and we can’t wait to see you all there! The lineup looks VERY promising, to say the least. Let’s drop some names, shall we?
Many of the industry’s favorite personas are about to take the stage: James Van Elswyck, Van Oakes, Jason Akatiff, Nick Shackelford, Maor Benaim, The Tan Bros… along with Mark Joyner (invented the tracking pixel), John Lemp (founder of Clickbooth & Revcontent), Peter Kell (VSL Jedi) and many more.
A little birdie told us that it is going to be the biggest Affiliate World event ever! As many as 6000 attendees are expected to walk the floors of the venue, striking deals with 250+ companies who reserved their booths.
And now the best part! Since the STM fam has close ties to the AW organizers, we negotiated a sweet deal for you… All active STM members get a $300 discount from the entrance tickets, for a limited time. The deal ends on Dec 24th, so make sure you don’t miss it 🙂
All the details are in the thread, link below:
Stay tuned for the next edition of MRKTRS WKLY.
