Here are 5 incredible entrepreneurial lessons from the one, the only, Elon Musk!
Lesson 1. Love what you do.
If you like what you’re doing, you think about it even when you’re not working. It’s something that your mind is drawn to. And if you don’t like it, you just really can’t make the work.
Lesson 2. Attract a talented team.
Depending on how talented and hardworking that group is, and to the degree that they are focused cohesively in a good direction, that will determine the success of the company. Do everything you can to gather great people if you’re creating a company.
Lesson 3. Hire problem solvers.
When interviewing someone to work in a company, is to ask and tell about the problems that they worked on and how they solved them. If someone is really the person that solved it, they’ll be able to answer multiple levels because anyone anyone who struggled hard on a problem never forgets it.
Lesson 4. Work incredible hard.
If somebody else is working fifty hours and you’re working a hundred, you’ll get twice as much done in the course of the year as the other company.
Lesson 5. Never give up.
Q: That third failure in a row, did you think, “I need to pack this is”
Q: Why not?
Musk: I don’t ever give up. I’d have to be dead or completely incapacitated.
